the story on the Alienware super widescreen is interesting but the actual monitor may not perform as good as customers may want, still not much is known but price is still unditermined, even though it has .02ms (assumed) it, it may or may not perform well

This article basically talked about how Paramount is dropping its support to HD DVD. With the new outcoming of Blu-ray DVDs, the competition is tough. The reason it poses such a threat to HD DVD is because it's a much better quality. It is predicted to take over the market as HD DVDs did to VHS.

There have been numerous cases in which people crossing the boader into the U.S. have been asked to give there laptops in order to search its hard drive for any information they would like to look at. The government and border customs say that searching a hard drive on a laptop is just the same as searching through a suitcase. In one particular case a man was asked if he child pornography on his laptop and he responded "I dont know, I downloaded pornography but deleted child images when they came up" he had a password on his computer in order to log onto his computer. They asked him for it and he gave it to them. Later in court because he had previously given them the password he was forced to repeat it. It is your right or the Fifth Amendment that states that you can't be made to speak in ways that indicate your guilt. So you dont have to give your password to anyone, even if your computer is taken. These procedings are currently take place in court about the inspections of laptops. My suggestion is keep your passwords to yourself and leave your laptops at home.

Comcast is expecting to provide high speeed internet that enabels you to download at 160mbps and to uplink at 120mbps. Even though that sounds great, is the service going to be as wonderful? I currently have my internet with Comcast Cable and yes, it's fast, when it's working. Atleast once a week there is a problem with our internet at home. The problem with it is that some of the time it does't work and you have to argue with custumor service. So with this new high speed internet coming our way, hopefully the service will be just as promising.

the article basically explained how ultra fast internet will be avaiable from comcast but i think that it will only be avaiable for wealthy people because its probably gonna be preety expensive,at least for a couple of years... also current dsl is just fine and i dont have a problem with it, supernerds probably go crazy for this

Matt Cutts asertion is more than likely correct.People who, in whatever standing are prepared to do"otherwise" may findthat it is not so hard to go further.Although there are no statistical datea to support his argument, common sense should prevail.

Wow, driverless cars. GM has finally figured out a way to stop bad drivers from driving themselves. Hopefully this will reduce the amount of accidents that occur each year and the traffic that comes with those nasty accidents.

Comcast will be comming out with a new ultra-fast internet. The company promises the technology will allow you to download HD movies in under four minutes. The new technology will be avaliable to the public in 2009 where they hope to boost the companies growth substanually. They are also annocing plans to create a mega international data base for movies to be sent to homes via internet. This will certainly replace the unreliable cable boxes. This national store will be able to store up to 6000 movies at a time and up to half of them in HD format. Comcast also plans to announce the release of the new Fancast Web site. The site will be able to launch old and new tv episodes for viewers. The company also is developing a service tied with your phone where caller ID will pop up on the TV and computer screens. A mini screen will be incorperated into a phone to access one's email. This new device is currently in its testing mode.

I think with comcast starting this new ultra-fast internet is great on one hand and never-wreaking on the other. It's great because my boyfriend and I are always up on the latest technolgy we have everything that comcast offers now with the OnDemand, HD channels, and megs up and down. Then again it's defiantly a concern because everything comcast is going to offer in the future will come with a big price tag. How much do they think people can afford? Right now I pay $206.00 per month for just cable and internet.

Also the article on the co2 recycling is of some importance but will take many years maybe even a decade or more to produce large scale co2 recycling with todays technology, assuming theres a break through soon it would take a very large investment to recycle any large amount of co2.

comcast ultra fast internet sounds interesting for internet lovers, you will be able to download documents very fast and with better quality and that is perfect, now what I'm asking myself is the price, what is it going to be? internet prices are already high, so I can't imagine that ultra fast how much is going to cost with that capacity. I guess we'll see.

I read an article describing a bug found in the new Apple Iphone. Its an interesting bug because once the new year rang in this January the phone still displayed December 2007. Apple has released updates to prevent from happening in the future. Hopefully apple works out a new version of the phone to eliminate bugs and problems. Although it may be more expensive it will be a great investment.
