NASA's Near-Earth Object (NEO) program has just recently updated their Predictions for the Jan.30 pass of a 164-foot wide space rock expected to possibly impact the planet Mars.
the Probability has dropped sharply to approximately 0.01 percent or 1-in-10,000 odds.this came shorty after analyzing results from a new round of observations between Jan. 5 and Jan. 8.

well, this article talks about the creation of fresh human stem-cell lines by scientists wich could be transplanted into patients to treat diseases. I think that would be great, however after seen the movie "I'm legend" I'm a little scared about those experiments because you never know if they are going to be helpful or worse. anyway......I hope we don't end up like the movie.
